Cian Hussey

Cian is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Politics & International Relations at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle, Western Australia. During his studies he has been involved with the Mannkal Economic Education Foundation and spent some time working there as a Research Analyst.

At university, he learned the importance of free markets and free people, although this was often countered by the syllabus and staff.

In 2018 Cian interned at the Centre for Policy Studies in London where his passion for freedom and free enterprise was solidified. In 2019 he worked on the RegData project at the Institute of Public Affairs. As a Campus Coordinator, Cian has enjoyed the opportunity to connect with other students, both likeminded and otherwise, to discuss and debate the importance of freedom.

He is looking forward to continuing his relationship with the IPA in 2020 when he relocates to Melbourne to become a Research Fellow
